When I posted my original video youtube called "1968 442 & 1973 340 Duster in 1979 Boulder City", I didn't know what ever happened to my 442. I had sold it in the early 1980's and never saw it again. I recently found it and the new owner was nice enough to let me drive it once again. It brought back such great memories. Darren (the new owner) brought it back from the dead (the guy I sold it to nearly destroyed the car) and suped up the big block 400 and it still has the massive torque it had before. The funny part of this story is that this was my first car when I was 16 years old. When Darren got it, it was his first car when he was 16 as well. Enjoy.

  • what ´s are the rims or tires size on your car ? Thank´s .

  • @Olma442

Hi, I just now saw your question. I don't know what size the tires and wheels are on it anymore. I haven't owned it since the early 80's and I didn't ask Darren the owner the size. If I had to quess, I'd say those rear wheels are 15" x 10" with a reverse offset.

    Steve

  • The rear wing struts are not correct and look tacky but otherwise sounds like Oldsmobiles doo !

  • That is because it is an after market spoiler. Not the factory spoiler. It's all I could afford when I was 16.

  • What a story of survival. Im happy to see the car is still around.

  • Yes, I'm very happy it's still around and in good shape. To drive it again after 25 years was fantastic.

  • that is an awesome rig

    my hat is off

  • I would buy it back if I were you...

  • nass car good job but the wing looks like for a japnise compact

  • Tell the owner to loose the amp guage before it starts a fire on him. It just about happened to me before I started my resto. Otherwise, minus the wing, the car is pretty clean.

  • my 1972 torino could easily dust that .. but goodjob on getting the car :D
