Dont mean to ridicule you, but those fish are not sunfish they are male bluegills, the male always has a more orange belly where the female is more yellow, sunfish have an orange belly but those are bluegills, having caught thousands of both species in my life I easily can tell the difference

Thanks for the reply, usually the males lose their colors later in the summer and then comes back in the spring but these fish seem to hold the colors most of the year
