US Denim Mills is committed to the environment and society and this pledge is reflected in the efforts of the mills. The mills possesses certificates by GOTS, OE, Fairtrade, SA 8000, REACH etc. In the efforts towards a healthy environment, US Denim has taken a initiative and is producing recycled denim. The waste from the garment manufacturer's cutting table is shredded and spun to produce yarn. Some polyester is mixed to give strength to the yarn. This yarn is then taken into process and weaved to produced recycled fabric. The garment manufacturer stitches the garment. The whole process, thus, utilizes waste and renews it into fresh jeans. Several recycle options are offered. US Denim can produce 100% recycled Warp (without processing), 100% recycled fill (without processing), the fill may be bleached, both or one of warp and fill may be indigo dyed. The concept is elaborated by the use of "Green Machine". Different steps shown refer to various processes required in Recycled Denim Production.
