From the 1961 Carnegie Hall Concert is Judy's outstanding performance of Noel Coward's stunning 'If Love Were All'. Once again, Judy doesn't seem to be singing the lyrics but, instead, living them; exposed, for all to witness. An amazing talent. I've added a few clips of Judy in public during the late '50's.

  • the footage on the street in the polka dot dress is so mesmerising and magical - it feels very strange that someone so special did something as ordinary as drive a car or walk down a street but of course she MUST have done

    I think if I saw her in that spotted dress in the street I was stare at her even if she wasnt Judy Garland because her face is just so warm with intelligence and character and style - I'd think "wow she looks really nice and really interesting"

  • she reaches way down and pulls me up out of my lonelyness:}

  • Great clips. She is mesmerizing - I never tire of watching her. Thank you very much.

  • @jockottawa I found out that the clip is from the New York City premiere of 'A star is Born'. You may be able to see the sign in the last second of the clip. It's from one of the A and E specials.

  • @jockottawa amen

  • @1dpoppyman thx for the reply. It looks like NYC by the background. I love the way she is.... 'being Judy Garland'.
