Though chiropractic treatment may have some negligible benefits for acute lower back and neck pain, the same results can be obtained by massage therapy. "Subluxations" of the spine have never been linked to any medical condition with the exception of complete paralysis. Many chiropractors claim to be able to cure everything from heart disease to autism to bed-wetting but it has yet to be demonstrated.

This video is not to be taken as medical advice. If you are suffering back or neck pain, or any other medical condition, please consult a physician.

  • @stukoulak you're retarded

  • Every statement made here is fact-based with evidence provided each time. That some people claim to "feel better" is explained by combinations of the placebo effect, the fact that it involves some massage and relaxation, which reduces discomfort via muscle relaxation. It has nothing to do with "life forces" or the nonexistent "subluxations". Often it does nothing but provide a pleasant experience - lying down and stretching has the same effect. Look at facts and pay attention to the statements!

  • This video is great.

  • This video is retarded

  • This video is retarded

  • Is this from Stephen Barrett's Quackwatch?

  • This was a terrible video. All this video did was bad mouth chiropractic. Obviously the person who made this video has not done their research into chiropractic studies performed in the last few years. OH, and another thing, chiropractors are slowly being allowed to practice in hospitals throughout the country. Obviously you need to do more homework before making such a terrible video. I have been an MD for 3 years. Too many physicians are trigger happy on medications, which is pathetic to me.
