Some churches take the love the sin, hate the sinner approach with gay and bisexual people. The approach is a failure. Churches usually end up hating the person and rejecting the person. Churches need to just love the person.

  • The bible is so full of contradictions, hate, anger, death, and evil that I am surprised anyone still takes it seriously anymore. Love is the highest emotion, hate and anger are two of the lowest. Jealousy is a fault. A god who is all loving cannot hate or get jealous. A god who is omniscient knows how a person will be before they are born. Why would he then punish them in anger for being the way he created them? It's all just nonsense.

  • @AvalonDraconis Very good points.

  • This is why I'm a 14 year old agnostic. My generation is finally learning this shit, and making good choices.

  • @beckondorf1 Unfortunately, there is a lot of shit in some organized religions. No religion at all is probably better than bad religion.

  • Leviticus 18:22

  • @h20fwler1 There is discussion of Lev. texts in some of the top responses to this video. Had you taken time to read the discussion you might have understood that posting a Bible text, without any discussion as to what the text means to you is useless. Your action was stupid. Gay people read those passages a lot as they think through what the Bible says and does not say about homosexuality. You have proven zero.

  • @garysdeskcom Diseases are not sins. But sin is a disease. And diseases can lead one to sin.

  • @kfed1991 As an athiest it is my duty to tell you ur living in fiction

  • God loves everyone, sinners included. As His church, we are to love them too. However, the key is that love and tolerance are not the same thing. And it doesn't matter if it's homosexuality or adultery or pride. All are sinful and all need to be repented of. I am no less sinful than someone struggling with homosexuality, but it is my duty as a Christian to tell someone that they are in sin (while not losing sight of my own desperate need for Jesus). I love gay people, but they are living in sin.

  • Whenever I hear someone say, "I love the sinner, but not the sin", I know I'm listening to either, a coward or a liar or both.

  • and what have we done ? what have we done???

  • please christians stop condeming when you condemn you push those who God loves away from him when you close your church doors you close people who have just as much of a right to follow christ off to the entire idea don't you see this is sick this wrong God doesn't want us to hate the bi the gay the transgenderd or the lesbian .... the sinner if anything sinners require more love and care take care of the least of my brothers and sisters for what you have done for them you have done for me...
