This video shows how to reset your PS3's video output options after you change cables. In my example, I went from Component to HDMI.

Hold the power button in with the PS3 off to turn on PS3 and keep holding the power button in until you hear a beep. Release the power button and your video display output options will reset to what you have connected. See guide over at http://www.tech-recipes.com

  • I was with my friend.. He have HDMI so we switched it to HDMI settings... Well.. When i went to home I puted scart to my ps3 and tv... Well.. I dont see anything... Do I hav to Switch settings like I could be blind??

  • @fiveheartkakuzu yes, you'll have to reset them via this method or temp hook up to hdmi and then change display settings on ps3 to scart and then plug in scart. :)

  • Alright. I have a problem here. I need to reset my system from HDMI to AV. Problem is, the reset button doesn't work on my playstation. Anyway to fix it?
