I believe you can install a 3.5" HDD in place of the optical drive, or... You can install an optical drive with a 2.5" HDD below it.

actually i play 1080p mkvs frequently on my ps3, using ps3 media server. Its streams perfectly. No need to convert.
Actually i was considering getting popcorn hour, but i found that i could stream practically everything to the ps3.

Piece of crap device.I rather take a ps3 slim which has more functions then this device.
People don't buy this piece of crap media player devices. PS3 slim or regular are the best media player device blu ray player and game console. SUPPORT SONY BUY THE PS3!!!
