A wall goes up in an atheist's mind, so basically you're saying atheists become somewhat close minded and will say or do anything to protect their views? Do you have any idea how hypocritical that sounds? That basically sums up religious people....Because if you could logically reason with someone who's had any religion pounded into their head as a child; its basically impossible to reason with these people.

@barrius1234 Yep. I long ago realized there isn't much difference between Religious zealots and Atheists. They respond to contrary evidence and opinion in exactly the same way.

Is the appendix harmful? It used to have a function, but now it has none, and it can become inflamed, rupture and kill us. Religion invites mockery and ridicule upon itself because its tenet and claims are ridiculous.

And we don't demand an end to big business because it doesn't condemn us to an eternity of pain and torment if we don't accept it. Religion is receding because we see no evidence of God's existence. Can anyony show some evidence?

@joestfrancois Space is a supernatural realm. Dan even explains that if space is eternal, wouldn't you agree that's supernatural? If it's not eternal, where or whom did it come from? How is that explained by the 'physical world?' Maybe you know something the whole world has been waiting to hear, please share?

I read most comments and I find it weird that people are only pointing out flaws with Christianity. I am an atheist and I think that any religion is bad, worst being Christianity and Islam in my opinion

Ok, I ignore religion and it's followers and examine the concept of a god.

Hmm. God, as most claims go, is a supernatural being.

I have in my life seen no evidence that shows the truth of a supernatural being or a supernatural realm or anything purported to be of a supernatural nature that is not easily explained in the physical world.

There is no evidence for a god, I don't think he/she/it exists.
