Also never accused you of "worshipping" Obama, I'm merely stating my opinion. of the man, and that opinion is that he's not all that great. He doesn't care about the poor, and certainly doesn't care much for personal freedoms or gay rights. That being said i would still prefer him over McSame, but that is saying very, very little.

Further keep in mind that your statment apples -equally- to TOW-THE-LINE liberals - people who will do whatever the democratic party tells them to. Simply be aware that liberal does not in all cases = good OR bad. the American left and right are not all that different from where I stand - both favor state control where it benefits them, be it over the economy, your wallet, or your lifestyle. I dislike many of Obama's policies, as being ineffectual, wasteful, and sensationalist .I am cynical towards anyone who would see a position of political power. Making blanket statements such as "no liberal worships a candidate" is false. How can you accuse me of having a black/white mentality when you have jumped to the conclusion that I am conservative? Stop being so presumptuous. Poilitical idol worship exists across the entire political spectrum. Liberals and Conservatives are all sheep.

Nobody has claimed that about Obama. I think you're projecting a typical conservative trait onto me. A good example is the way conservatives idolize Palin.

You're typical black & white / flat earth mentality tells you that just because i don't hate him, then therefor I worship him. Conservsatives worship their candidates, not liberals.

Conservative ideology dictates absolute adherance. You're not allowed to recognize faults on your side.
