@vava54own Wrong. It would be a big win for creationism. The odds of evolution happening ONCE is astronomical, but let say it did here on Earth. Now for it to happen on Mars too? Impossible. It is a BIG win for creation science if life is found elsewhere (ie: if a supreme being (take your pick who) can make life here he can also make it on Mars)

Imagine if they found a fossile in those layers... imagine how amazing that would be! I mean.. it's not THAT crazy, we know that mars has water (ice) and was much more wet in the past, so why not?
That would be a big win for abiogenesis and evolution :D

Keep in mind that Mars doesn't have the atmosphere that Earth does. So you could get very clear pictures from space there compared to Earth. Imagine if they spent the bucks to put some Keyhole style spy sats above Mars and the level of detail you could see with those.
