first mofo who doesnt hit the limiter nice bro!

Actually I usually average 30-32 mpg with moderate driving habits and the occasional lift activity. I use non-ethanol fuel, so maybe that helps.

Youtube has issues with syncing videos with their sound depending on the videos original format..

@superhawkn the XRS is more like a 25mpg car is you baby it lol

sound so much like a honda b series motor

see i like toyota. but... corolla used to be just a not so exotic fuel saving machine for church people or regular people that commute to work everyday...
putting up a good motor in it seem...well lets say oil and water dosnt mix well. they should put a hybird electric motor instead.
make a new model of a car and put it in im just sayin
Im surprised... thought those corollas were slow... doesnt look too slow to me.. some bolt ons...and tuning... i suppose that thing can be pretty damn fast.

really? that's incredibly interesting. wrong, but interesting.
vvt-i is continuously variable and uses one set of lobes. it works for the whole band and doesn't step.
vvtl-i is vvt-i plus lift. it uses two sets of lobes and there is a point where it switches between the two (aka a step).
go ahead and flame me. don't beleive me? look it up.
