  • Part 3 is coming I promise:-)

  • @spogoa I'm annoyed by the "youth" of some of the TV Land shows, too. I think "The George Lopez Show" went on right after its network run. "The Nanny" is too recent, too.

  • always lol @ the way Hazel runs in a room lol

  • great old show ...Shirley Booth was a natural like Bea Benaderet

  • @caroleargo - I am a BIG Antennae TV, too! I recently found out that Corky, who is Bimbo, the elephant's, trainer on "Circus Boy" (another series on Antennae TV) is none other than MICKEY, the drummer for "The Monkeys"!! At first, I thought he was a relative to Bobby Buntrock....looks a lot like him.

  • Originally telecast on Christmas Eve, 1964. Yes, several RCA Victor color set models had a remote control at the time, 'ddenuci'; because the series was originally telecast on NBC (RCA's subsidiary) in "Living Color", they wanted to make sure viewers saw the latest model in the Baxter's living room. Shirley and Don were also featured in a few RCA Victor magazine ads as well...

  • I watched this episode on Antenna TV yesterday. Takes me back :(

  • she looks like bette midler

  • @planetiowa Classic TV is dead and gone on TV Land. It will never be like it used to be, its worthless.

  • i'm 13 and i love this show. My mom showed me this show on the channel 5-2 and its hilarious :)

  • I heard in a documentary about Whitney Blake that she was very jealous of her daughter's career.

    If true, that is sad.

  • @planetiowa I like the ones without the laugh tracks. Do you?

  • Haven't seen this in nearly 40 years. Shirley Booth forged her path to greatness in Come Back Little Sheba with Burt Lancaster in the 50's and she lived well into her 90's.
