@catawba909 I built a house that had a hidden door in the library that simply led into another room--it wasn't a hidden room or anything. Sometimes it's done just so you don't have waisted space of a door.

it will be better if the door height is same as the bookshelf height to minimize the visible line
between the two

@myalphawolf Hmm let me see, if you didn't know there was a hidden door here would you walk in and be like "do you think that is hid(d)en, i see where is the door" btw way to show us all great english!

if your going to make the effort to make a hidden door at least make it hidden, lazy workmanship

nice door but everyone is right about seeing the lines. i did too. easy fix, hang a picture there just below the seam and the top of the frame will hide the seam, u must hang the picture frame on the door not the stationary part.

Some decent miter cutes in the molding would have hidden the seams much better, but since I've never built anything close to that nice I really shouldn't criticize. It's a sweet Bookcase/hidden door

Eh..... decent but there is a small gap where you can see it opens.... Symmetry would make it a lot better
