not a bad result. But im all up for freehand haircuting but with a little more attenetio to detail. im just seeing random sections with no disaplin

Cutting hair is a form of art it is not mechanical sectioning guideline to guideline is for mechanical people not artist but you can still get similar result

Would a pixie cut look ok with thick wavy hair if it was cut very short in the back/

well, the shorter you cut it, the harder its going to be to get it straight with an iron! It wouldnt be bad, as long as you take out all the weight.

This is a lovely cut. The shape was already established before the thinning took place so one couldn't expect to achieve this result with thinning shears alone.

Would a babyface and very thick, slightly wavy hair look good with a generic pixie cut? Kind of like Michelle Williams short cut? I've been wanting a shorter cut for a long time now.
