This would be better is it had a shout out to the original in the title. It is so different from the original that it is dangerously close to seeming like ripped off bull-shit. I think just put something about the original in titel and people will be more receptive to this. I bet 40+ of your dislikes are from people who disliked it cause they thought you were stealing the idea.

Good point, but he was chosen randomly from a tank of fifty lobsters to avoid experimental bias. I do need to repeat the experiment with at least four more lobsters for better stats, but it's not looking good for the arthropods. XD
