Program description: Author and journalist, Jeremy Scahill, talks about the private contractor company that's the topic of his book, BLACKWATER: THE RISE OF THE WORLD'S MOST POWERFUL MERCENARY ARMY, on the occasion of the release of the paperback edition.
@Opigoink I think the point the video is trying to make is that private military contractors seem to be lacking in accountability. Yes people die in war. Nobody is disputing that. But, if it is clear and obvious that non-combatants were killed for no reason, then something should be done about it. The people responsible must face criminal charges or at least an investigation. Without that, they become simple thugs who can kill anyone they want and get away with it.

Oh wow people die in war? When did this happen? There is such thing as civilian death? What is this, war?

Oh well, that's what happens in war. Do you think terrorist's run around with big stickers on their clothing saying "TERRORIST". Wake up. If it wasn't for companies like Blackwater, you wouldn't have the ability to spew the cry baby Liberal BS that you do now. If we all thought like you and downed the country that you live in, you would be in jail and the country would be such as North Korea. Idiot...wake the F*** up and thank God, and not allah or budda that you live here.
