my motorola Milestone (droid) touchscreen has gone wild!
It move on it's own.
Most of time me pressing the screen doesn't result in anything.

  • This was already resolved. I sent it to waranty and they fixed it. So, there isn't probably any software fix as they had to replace some hardware components.

  • I'm having this same problem with my Motorola Droid, and it only started recently. It even happens in Safe Mode, but not every time I use the phone. I've done a lot of searching and most of the problems like this relate to chargers. Mine happens even when not charging, and I see yours does too. Do you have the holiday version of Angry Birds installed? Both times this has happened I've been playing that.

  • @QuadCityImages I didn't use angry birds. I suppose that this happens by overheating.. angry birds uses the cpu a lot so it gets really hot.

It's most probably a hardware problem. I'm contacting the store where I bought it.

  • @tiagocardoso Any problems yet? I had mine "fixed" a year ago and now the problem's back again.

  • this happened to my friends droid and it called 911

  • very nice , mine has just been possessed by something on its 13th month aniversary. ¬¬

  • Haha. Same with me... Lucky its my 11th month, so still inside the warranty

  • I think I will find a Motorola Exec... and kindly insert this fucking USELESS Droid into his ass.... your's is GOOD compared to mine...

  • This problem just started up on my year-and-a-half old Moto Droid. Fortunately, Verizon offered me a chance to upgrade early a few months ago, and the offer still stands... so instead of paying to get this phone fixed, I'm just getting a new one. Probably the 4g HTC Thunderbolt as soon as I scrape together the $250 needed for the upgrade.

  • I am also facing exactly same problem, my cell phone is at service center. As per service center guy, this problem is related to display.

  • I'm having this problem too, I don't know what is going on... My problems start when the battery is nerly full charge. When it is running out of charge the problems reduce.
