NES Castlevania Playthrough 1/3

This isn't a speed run or anything. I just decided to post a video of me playing through Castlevania for the Nintendo. There are 3 parts to this video.

Level 1:
The opening stage. Super easy. I did a little trick in the 3rd part of the stage where I got hit by the bat and skipped the Merman part. It helps cut down on time if you choose to do a speed run. Otherwise, the Mermen aren't that difficult to pass.

Level 2:
This level is also pretty easy. Up stairs in the second part, I purposely get hit by the bat to go up one level. This is another trick to cut down on time. Medusa is pretty straight forward with Holy Water. Even without it, she is easy.

Level 3:
This level really isn't that hard. Its just that sometimes it can be cheep. Sometimes you can stop for a micro second and ascend up the stairs, And the skeleton at the top will just jump over you. But I guess it didn't feel like doing that this time. I managed to finish off the stage with relative ease though.

@djmixnmagic The nes ghosts n' goblins is basically unplayable and to make things worse it forces you to beat the game twice to win.

@DAportfolio It is Draculas soul somehow, maybe he needs to like empower the creature's with it or something? It is prrety cool though, I like the ritual of picking it up, just like taking the stars in super mario 64. You might as well just be dealt the star when finishing your tasks, but it still feel pretty awesome to grab it yourself.

@djmixnmagic Ghosts n Goblins by far... I find the controls a bit more stiff, and those gargoyles are far more dangerous. Not to mention, you need to beat the game twice to officially end it.
