The you don't understand music at all. Instead of trying to pull the amazing creativity of artists, especially Quincy Jones that mastered this version of the Handel Messiah's Hallelujah Chorus in a masterpiece call "The Soulful Celebration", into your small world, I'm happy we live in a world that free to let us be who we are in a modern world. Nothing wrong with the traditionalism of Handel, but I also appreciate this modern and relative version for my life. Enjoy Life.

@slien007 As I child I HATED to perform Handel's version in school because I COULD NOT relate to it. When a SOULFUL CELEBRATION came out I ENJOYED!! Because it was worship I was USED to, I RELATED to the ENTIRE composition.

"Rollover Beethoven, tell Tchaikovsky the {Good} News!" -- Chuck Berry, emphasis added.
If Handel can't be resurrected from the grave by the power of Jesus and this performance of the Hallelujah Chorus, he is too far gone.
Jesus was black, as a matter of fact, not a blue-eyed blonde, although I love blue-eyed blondes also. Check Jesus' lineage and the self-description by ancestor Solomon in Chapter 1 of Song of Solomon, King James version and literal Hebrew.

@slien007 I agree

@gipsyblue, this is Gospel music, shouting is part of it, they are celebrating God in their way.
Peace out.

I'm sure Mr. Handel would be delighted with this version. Everyone is enjoying themselves, don't forget he was a musician and all musicians like to improvise and experiment. Keep up the good work

@Bratzbatzbgo Bravo to you for hearing!! As a bagpiper I stood next to the symphony conductor for my 1 minute solo bit-piece with all that glorious classical chorus singing out around behind me over my screaming melody through the big drones. A bagpiper who sang along with George Szell's Cleveland Symphony in the 50's. I'm also a bagpipe maker and I spend every day bending grass to help people try to sing modal music with their fingers. Then I hear this!! Such heart.

The southeast region in arkansas is using this piece for the senior high all-region choir clinic this year. I love this piece because it not only has an ubeat feeling, but it is still all for his glory.

It's magnificent. So is the old one. It's all good, God loves it all :-)
Thanks for your comment but the one thing that is allowed in our worship experience is a shout. We stay away from performances because they tend to be controlled and clean as you have said. This rendition is a Soulful Celebration by one of our greatest contributors to music, Mr. Quincy Jones. I'm sure you can find a lot of what you'd like to see on youtube and other mediums. But as for us, we chose what's best, and we believe that it's marvelous in the eyes of whom we sing Hallelujah.
