In an auto-rikshaw inTrivandrum City, Kerala, INDIA !

Here I am travelling through the centre of Thiruvananthapuram (formerly Trivandrum)city, the capital city of Kerala state in the south west corner of India.You can see the red flags and hear a speech from the public addressing system from a political meeting emphasising Kerala's leanings to the left politically.. There is an opportunity to see the famous government secretariat building(built by the British during Raj days) as the rikshaw slows down and stops at a traffic light. Without doubt this clearly is a city with a long history behind it
