what is with cabaret and almost all of sally's scene's involving chairs? oh well... its cute

Bob Fosse ONLY directed and choreographed the 1972 film adaptation of CABARET. CABARET is NOT a Bob Fosse show. The original 1966 Broadway production of CABARET was directed by Harold Prince and choreographed by Ron Field. Again... Bob Fosse ONLY directed and choreographed the 1972 film adaptation, which was quite different from the stage version (heck, he made the British Sally Bowles American for his film). That's it. Its NOT an original Bob Fosse show. At all. People seem to forget.

Interesting emcee! But Gina Gershon is lacking in that sass that makes up Sally Bowles. While Susan Egan came out audaciously sexy and bold, Gina Gershon simply feels...silly and childish. Not that good enunciation either and the singing sounded too nasally and heavy. Not the best revival of the much loved "Cabaret".

I love itt :D Gina was amazing!

Sorry but Amanda Palmer done a better job. More animated/into it.

I thought Alan Cumming played Emcee in the revival...

He did but the revival ran for 6 years. So there were several Emcee's.
