Demi: *walks into school, arms linked with Selena's*

Selena: "Ah, home sweet home."

Demi: *laughs* "You're such a drama queen."

Selena: "Thank you, girlie." *laughs* "Oh look, there are the girls. Hi!" *waves* "Let's go over to them."

Demi: "Let me just stop by my locker, okay?"

Selena: "Alright, but I'm gonna head over to them."

Demi: "Okay, be right there."

Selena: *walks off*

Demi: *walks to her locker and sees the person next to her struggling with his locker* "Hey, do you need help?"

Joe: *pushes up his glasses and looks at her*

Demi: *smiles*

Joe: *blushes* "Yeah."

David: *walks to Demi's side* "I could help."

Demi: "Hey, David! That'd be great. David this is... I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name?"

Joe: "...uh, my name?"

Demi: *giggles* "Yeah, don't you have one? Mines is Demi." (a/n Improper grammar! Just sayin'.)

Joe: "That's pretty." *blushes when he realizes what he said*

Demi: *grins* "Thanks, it's a nickname actually."

Joe: "I have a nickname. Joe."

David: "What's Joe a nickname for?"

Joe: "Uh... Joseph?"

David: *nods thoughtfully*

Demi: *laughs* "Well, David, this is Joe. Joe this is David."

David: *nods at him*

Demi: *opens her locker and throws her bag in* "I gotta go though. It was nice meeting you, Joe. You should hang out with David and I'll catch y'all later."

David: "Leave me to baby sit?"

Demi: "Be nice. Joe, let me know if he's not." *smiles and leaves*

David: "So you're new, huh?"

Joe: *nods*

David: *reads his combination and gets his locker open* "Cool, after you're done, I'll introduce you to my buddies."

Joe: "Okay. I guess."

Demi: "Hola, muchacos."

Taylor: "Correction: muchacas."

Chelsea: "Since when do you pay attention in Spanish?"

Taylor: *shrugs*

Demi: *laughs* "You guys haven't changed! How was your summer in Tahiti?"

Chelsea: "Relaxing." *sighs with a smile on her face*

Taylor: "Fun! The dancers showed me how to dance like them! I'll teach you at your back-to-school-sleepover."

Selena: "Speaking of, I cannot wait for tonight!" *squeals*

David: "See those two guys over there?" *points*

Joe: "Yeah."

David: "Those are my buddies. Nick and Kevin. Come on."

Joe: *follows David over to them*

Kevin: "Sup, David?"

David: "Meet my new buddy." *harshly pats Joe's shoulder*

Joe: *mouths: Ow.*

Nick: *looks around* "Who?"

David: "The guy standing right next to me! Who else?"

Nick: "Oh, I thought he was the kid who does your homework. Kids with glasses, man. They all look the same to me." *shakes his head*

Kevin: "So, who is he?"

David: "This is uh, Jerry."

Joe: "It's Joe."

David: "Whatever. Jerry is gonna be hanging with us."

Nick: "Why?"

David: "He's cool with Demi."

Nick: "Oh. Now I get it. Welcome to the group, Jerry!" *holds out his fist*

Joe: *flinches*

Nick: *waiting* "Dude, are you gonna knuckle touch me or what? I don't have all day."

Joe: *awkwardly knuckle touches him*

Kevin: "What's your first class?"

Nick: *whispers to David while Joe & Kevin speak* "Are you sure we should let this guy chill with us?"

David: "Demi likes him. I have to." *shrugs*

Demi: *sees Joe joining the lunch line and gets up from her table* "I'll be right back." *walks over to Joe* "Hi, Joe."

Joe: *turns around* "Hi. Demi."

Demi: *smiles and looks at the food choices* "Ew, I think the lunch is even worse than last year's." *scrunches up her nose*

Joe: "Better than what I had to eat at my old school." *slightly smiles*

Demi: *giggles* "Come on, I want to introduce you to my friends."

Joe: "What about lunch?"

Demi: "Oh, I bring my own lunch. I always pack an extra big lunch. I could share with you?"

Joe: "What? No. No, you dont have to do that for me-"

Demi: "Don't be silly. I don't want you to have eat... whatever that is." *grabs his hand and walks over to her table*

Selena: "Who's your friend, Demi?"

Joe: *blushing*

Demi: *lets go of his hand* "Guys, this is Joe. Joe, this is Selena, Taylor, Chelsea, and you know Kevin, Nick, and David."

*The girls say "Hi." and smile politely.*

Demi: *sits down next to Selena*

Joe: *sits in between Demi & David*

David: "Jerry, my man!"

Demi: *furrows her eyebrows* "Who's Jerry?"

Forgot to mention, I frowned a bit when Joe flinched when Nick put out his fist to knuckle touch. :(

I'm assuming he got beat up by the popular guys in his old school. Maybe that's why he's at this knew school?

Gahh! Joe in glasses - so cute! I don't know why, but I have this fangirl moment when guys I like push up their glasses. xD And when they blush. Ahh, nerds are the best.

Anyway, cute and hilarious story! I had to muffle my mouth into my hand to stop laughing. People in the room are starting to give me weird looks.
