Is there any news about when the sequel will be dubbed into english? Who would do the voice work?
I remember seeing this show at the age of 4 on the BBC, I only saw one episode but it haunted me for years and I never was to remember... When I got the DVD set I saw the exact same episode 20 years previous.
So glad they released it again and a crime that they didn't make a sequel sooner, without a doubt one of the greatest shows of all-time that is not given its recognition.

The US version of MCOG was relased as a Region 1 DVD box set on April 7, 2009.

The three new seasons of this show will see the children only aged about a year. So new child voices will be needed for Tao and Esteban. Zia does not need a new voice. And yes, the English version was the only version to use real children to voice children. Such a dub id called a peanuts dub. Honored after the TV show " peanuts" . The Japanese and French versions used adults and in the French version Tao and Esteban were voiced by females.

Just wanted to say I was a huge fan...The Mysterious Cities of gold were part of the mysterious part of my childhood...I was only 5 or 6 when it was aired but you Voice Over actors really brought the series to life. And you still sound really great!
I love these people. They really have good chemistry together. I have the deluxe set too, but I don't remember if they explained why the voice actors for Pedro and Sancho weren't there during this gathering.

I can tell you. We thought Howard did the voice of Pedro. It wasn't until well after that he identified Michael Rudder as Pedro.
Sancho, well unfortunately a year earlier he passed away. It was Terrence Labrosse.

Tim, it must have been great meeting the cast and being a part of the official DVD release here in the UK. Well done Sir and thanks for the effort you put in on the VCD and DVD versions beforehand, I still have the ones that you did for me all those years ago!

Where was held this reunion? In Montreal? I know that the English dub of the Mysterious Cities of Gold was made in Montreal, Canada.
