  • good video. have you ever heard of a groomers helper? they are great for keeping dogs from falling off of the grooming table. great for keeping dogs from spinning around and biting you.

  • Yes! I have!! And I've used one before, they're really great!... Sometimes they get in the way though, too. So I'm still trying to figure if I want to get one or not.

  • While, YES, leads being used in place of Grooming loops IS dangerous if you tie the other end in a tight knot and leave the dog unattended, you'll notice that this is not the case.

If you look closely, they are tied in what I like to call a "Quick Release Knot". This style of tying allows the end of the lead to stay firmly in place during inactivity, BUT if the right amount of weight is applied (About 10-15lbs), the knot will "Quickly release" and come off the Grooming arm quite quickly. :)

  • Also I do appreciate the fact that you are worried about animals in such an aggressive manner, I would also appreciate it if you not yell at me before looking closely or messaging me your concerns.

    BUT... On a lighter note...

You DID happen to make my day. I haven't heard the expression "UUUMMM HELLO!!" since I was in High School :)

  • What a nice commercial! That gorgeous "smile" at the end was priceless. That dog is clearly enjoying himself. Great job!

  • I can`t believe someone would do this, let alone SHOW it on their TV commercial!!! The grey poodle shown being groomed, as well as a larger mixed breed dog in a later shot are both secured to the grooming post with what appears to be CHOKE leads! Umm, HELLO!!! There are such things as GROOMING LOOPS available made JUST for this purpose! They`re just asking for a dog to hang itself.
