Overclocking your netbook:

This will give a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge boost to performance and will work on

ASUS Eee PC 1000/1001HA/1005PE/1005HA/1015PE/1015PN/1018P/
1215N/1501P/T101MT, Foxconn Qbook

Follow this tutorial exactly. One wrong move and youve broken your notebook. If you do not trust or do not want to overclock your netbook then go through the other parts of the tutorial.

First of all

remove SHE(Super Hybrid Engine). You will definately not need this if you going to use this method for overclock and besides SHE only gives you 60 or 80 more mhz.

Once removed go to

http://www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb/

and download the freeware version and extract the files.

Open the programme with Administrator privelleges.

Scroll down the list to find

ICS9LPR427AGLF

This is what you need, find this exact code. Use no other code!

Once you have selected the code click 'get fsb'

It should be set on 156. Move this to anything between 156 to 260. Dont go higher unless you want to destroy the little thing.

260 will overclock to 1996.9mhz. I think this is a stable and fast speed for a netbook.

You will see a sizeable increase(depending on where you put it) in performance of any game. My netbook freezes when going higher. Yours may go higher but I dont reccommend it.

Thanks for watching

  • when i putted the code there , there was -196 but it had to be 156 , whats wrong ?

  • @tarvikkkk recheck the code and see if u have any other overclock programmes running lick super hybrid engine. Check the version u downloaded, if your netbook is second hand check if u have a modded bios. If these dont help then come back to me with ure system specs.

  • How do I know if it will work? I read they description... I just don't know if one of those are my computer.

  • @pandaspleen do you still have the box your computer came in, it should say on there.

  • @1005HAGAMING well , the good news are, that i overclocked my laptop successfully , but the bad news are, that i dont know, what is Super Hyprid Engine..:D

  • I have the 1015PN and set mine to 233. It locked up in about 4 minutes after I increased the clock. So I guess my point is that your resullts may vary!

  • @TheCatMilton Nice XD

  • @bs8375 You need to remove your battery and all powersources fomr your computer when you overclock and shut down. Next time your turn on your comp and run setfsb look at the value it gives you as default, i have 156, you should have something similar. Before shutting down or logging off remeber to always run setfsb and revert to that value. I almost s*** myself first time i got that message XD but i realised what i was doing wrong. Hope i helped.

  • @1005HAGAMING Thanks for the video! I am getting that boot media message on startup.. How can I fix that?

  • @1005HAGAMING i get to about 2.3ghz
