The tradition of vocalizing rhythmic material is well established in many drumming cultures around the world. Since ancient times, people have utilized this form of chant. It's a key to unlocking our powerful life force energy.

The purely sound-oriented experience of intoning syllables takes one on a journey of physical, emotional, and spiritual sensation. There are no intellectual associations, because the syllables themselves have no meaning. They are simply vocal expressions that represent either the drum sounds or the rhythmic cycle of the music. To enter the music by means of the syllables is to transcend the boundaries of cognitive thought and tap into personal experience - of which our breathing is the central rhythm. Intoning the rhythm syllables will synchronize your breathing with the pulse of the music.

i like the bridge of fire and catalyst songs a little bit better but this one isn't so bad. i like how the flutes kick in and give it a little bit more melody. :)
