In this Part 1 of 2 video tuortial of HowTo replace a guitar's pickguard and a guitar's pickups, Cliff from ToneSlinger.COM demonstrates in detail how to remove a pickguard and bridge on a tele style guitar. He also shows how to remove the stock pickups and get the control cavity ready for soldering the new pickups.

  • hey nice vid mate..i have a ques..well i have a yamaha RGZ 312(Strat)..and i'm short of funds to purchase a good guitar..however, what i can do is change the pickups, cuz its the thing that do not work so well..else the guitar is good..it comprises of 2 single coil and a hambucker..i wanna change the hambucker to a seymour duncan one and the single coils to a fender texmex..what do you advice..plz..thx..waiting eagerly on your response..tc
