Walking the Promenade Deck of Coral Princess

The Coral Princess, launched in 2002, is almost 1,000 feet long and 126 feet wide. This 3 1/2 minute leisurely walk from the front of the ship to the rear provides a feeling for the size of the Coral Princess, and the very wide promenade deck, about 12-14 feet wide is some sections. 2.8 laps = 1 mile. The on-board naturalist is heard speaking over the loudspeakers, during this Alaskan cruise in Aug., 2008, departing Vancouver and arriving near Anchorage. The water seen at the edges of the deck is from the almost constant rain we had during the week, although it didn't dampen our spirits on this spectacular cruise.
