From early May, Barbadians were angered at a new type of carton & flavour in their regular milk and 2% variety from PHD. On Facebook, a group was created to combat the new development as an online petition independently was devised to get the word "FRESH" removed from its labelling. The Bajan Reporter composed an article ridiculing the backlash since the Main Writer saw nothing wrong witht the new taste or package except for size -- accordingly, Banks Holdings Ltd invited the Bajan Reporter to a Poress Conference which looked at the Facebook response, the use of FRESH, why the size change and what budget was used to create the new method of storing the popular liquid. This is the article which earned Bajan Reporter an invitation (which was done at no behest of any PHD nor BHL personnel, purely on own merit of assessment);-

  • PHD have still not addressed the misleading packaging - IT'S LONG LIFE MILK. Not "fresh".
