My favoriite song from the 1966-70 CBS television series "The Jackie Gleason Show" starring Jackie Gleason, Art Carney, Sheila MacRae and Jane Kean. Taken from the October 7, 1967 episode "Hair to a Fortune".

Sheila McRae and Jane Kean did well playing Alice and Trixie. I still prefer Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph.

Thank you for posting this! I, too remember this from when it originally aired. I never thought I'd be able to hear it again but, thanks to you, I can. Thanks again!

@TheMarcweissman The quality of these isn't bad. The songs are well done.

I find it curiously bizarre JG would do something so ridiculous like add musical numbahz to da show, when, meanwhile, back in da 50's, he said that the Bill Davis episode would be da last one of da C39 b/c he thought the quality was dropping off too much.???? :(

@ 2:45 - hey folks - the camera is over here!. Part of the fun of watching the Color Honeymooners is waiting for Gleason and Carney to flub the musical numbers. For example, in the episode where they buy a run-down hotel, Gleason belts out a line in full voice at the wrong time while Carney says the wrong words. Then it's a race to see who finishes the song first - Gleason, Carney, or the band!

Even in color and even in music, Ed and Ralph just can't win.
