just so you all know, to truely identify the hcmr boys from other mounted troops, look to the white band that goes round their chest and the catoosh how ever its spealt box on the back, these boys are most certainly hcmr troopers.
also they are th eonly mounted troop that do mounted rehersals in hydepark in ranks of 4 or sections of 4. its been a while for me almost 8 years.

they are the musical ride in blues dress mounted they are useing blues jackets those trousers are standard for musicle ride, it keeps them all uniform looking.
and the rm is cpt dicky waygood, probably major dicky waygood now, hes a life gaurd, he used to run the training wing down at windsor and beast new recruits. i was his person groom for about 2 years.. was 2troop the life guards myself form 98-2002
