Signed in 1987, no one could forsee the contribution he would make to the history of the Red Devils. More league titles than any other footballer in England's history. Two European triumphs and 21 years later he surpassed the appearances record of Bobby Charlton.

Replacing Scholes in Moscow in 2008 to surpass Bobby Charlton's appearances record. Taking his penalty with aplomb and lifting the Champions league trophy again.
