http://www.ntv.co.ke Despite the standoff, it is emerging that the conference is on the verge of concluding a deal that will bring in billions of dollars to forested countries. Under the agreement known as Redd, countries will be paid huge sums of money to keep their forests intact. But as Pamela reports, Kenya may not benefit just yet from the big forest kitty.
The first thing to do in dealing with forest protection is first to close all the lumbering industries because they are major treat to and then the major/big fish like moi should be held accountable . There is no need to mistreat the poor yet there are major destroyers. We want to see our forest back, we want our country to be green. We don't need money to plant trees........

While most developed countries was sending their delegation to Copenhagen to talk about cutting emissions by 2020 by 25-50 per cent from a 1990 baseline. Kenya was sending a delegation led by Odinga to talk about planting trees in Mau. Is this really a plan for cutting emmisions?
