the carbs sound good to me.. i think that hesitation is just opening the throttle too much too fast, and it's just LOTS of air rushing in faster than fuel can atomize, etc. That's what a knowledgeable carb guy told me.. nice engine!! 5*

I replaced the 009 distributor with a SVDA distributor and the hesitation disappeared. The car is completely driveable now.
