why is everyone bitching here? he does exactly what hes set out to do, hes trying to achieve a bold quality to the voice so of course hes gonna use a lot compression. and think about the type of style this would be for ....trance or pop......and there is not a lot of ddynamics in either these days

when you eq you should be going in and out of the mix constantly to hear how it sounds as the actual song.

Trick is just a good singer. The rest is subjective.

I don't think people understand the goal of an educational video like this. IT is meant to teach through the example of the actual procedure, not to try to show how how to make an award winning sound. Thanks for this video. I guess people now-a-days expect a "ok guys, this is how you do this..."-type of shit. Everybody has their own style. sheesh.
