Liggett & Myers was the primary sponsor of "DRAGNET" during the '50s- first, for Chesterfield, then for L&M in the later seasons. After 1956, there were "alternate sponsors", including General Foods {Post cereals}.....
The lady playing the weepy mom here was a detective herself. On the radio. She did a radio show as Candy Matson, a lady private eye.
