My Transgender Life (Introduction)

An introduction to a documentary about what it's like to be transgender. The documentary covers what it's like to grow up in the wrong gender and eventually transition. It also discusses the youtube transgender community and how that has affected my life in a positive way.

@lolhangonamoment No where have I ever said that Gender Identity Disorder (which is medically recognized in the DSM) was a genetic or chromosomal disorder. It's understood to be caused by an abnormal hormone balance during gestation very early on in the pregnancy.

Honestly, I look forward to the day when there is some sort of test that can prove exactly how I feel inside, but until there is I'm going with the best options I have. I'd hope we can all respect that.

@demonicspire1 Can I get that in writing on official letterhead please? Because I'm sure that the four separate doctors I've gone to for Hormone Therapy over the years as well as the two Ph.D Therapists that I've worked with to get my GRS letters would just love to see that.

I'm also a male-to-female transgender person, and I just want anyone who's curios about the details or have questions to reply to this comment or message me. I'm open to talk, and I really just want people to understand what's going on.  I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about us.

@DJRedMEDIA Yea I know that is why i watch these most of these guys are no where near looking like real women ... I really would like to know if it is a mental issue as well .. I have nothing against them I feel sorry for them ..

@kelran1984 I don't understand this whole transition stuff to be honest, you didn't see cave men having problems like this, only when humans became intelligent and logical did you start to see these "transitions" in society. I of course don't let it bother me because it's not my problem, but I'm curious to know the psychology behind it to be completely honest. Could it be a mental defect similar to down syndrome and should research be done to help these people?
