Three times each day, a team of animal experts at SeaWorld Orlando perform hands-on, physical therapy on a once-stranded a pilot whale. The whale has scoliosis, or curvature of the spine. The physical therapy includes stretching the whale's muscles and working her tail fluke up and down.

  • ANY lengths for good PR, with all the heat theyre under atm. poor 300. sufferage.

  • They also use "hands on physical therapy" in their breeding program. >.<

  • If you look at the video posted of the same whale 2 months after this video was posted her spinal position has improved well for only 2 months of therapy

  • The next thing you will know is Disney will make a movie starring black actors and actresses who portray all the workers who are helping this whale. Just like they did in Fin!

  • Poor baby. Hate me if you want, but I think it would be best for that animal to put an end to it. As personal experience, scoliosis can be so painful sometimes. Even pain medication, surgery nor training won't do the trick sometimes. I can't even imagine a full 90 degree curvature in my back. I just find it horrible to let her stay this way when nature could have done its work...

  • BASTARDIII LASCIATE LIBERI TUTTI ANIMALI!! PERCHE TENETE INPRIGIONATI POVERI DELFINI!! SHAME ON YOU SEAWORLD!! INHUMAN PEOPLE!!

  • The quantity of dolphin born and alive are a lot less effective than all those dying because of this industry

  • @perryperez

that's no survival...a lot of dolphin dying during the transfert where they've been caught from where they are bought and then half of them dying in these aquarium for unknow illness and depression and the few children that are born don't survive most of the time. And more, if it we'rent from us catching them, they wouldn't be endengered. I have no doubt you love dolphin but if you really look into the fact, you realise these animal can't live in these condition.

  • @ghostxflower idk. ive seen their shows before & they say the trainers try to interact & form some sort of bond w/ the animal before they can train them for shows. but i do agree that its better for them to live in their natural habitat rather than in captivity. but sometimes captivity can be a good thing. unfortunately we live in a in a world today where almost every species is threatened to extinction so we have no other choice to breed them in captivity to ensure their survival

  • @perryperez

It's not wrong to take care of them but they force them to do some stupid trick for entertainement and drugging them for keeping them calm. Inform your self, and try to explain why whale feeding and having a home die much earlier of depression or unexplained disease than a wild dolphin living in a hostile environement. How would you like to be kept in a house for all your life control by some stranger while you used to travel miles and miles freely by your self and your family?
