  • Do you really think that Keith was gonna write "Yeah, Brian was a great guy, worked his #$@ off for the band we stole, then I took off with the woman he was in love with, made him watch as I brought her to the studio day after day and made out with her in front of him (per John Lennon). I watched as he self-medicated with drink and drugs. Turned off his equipment and laughed and made fun of him that he thought we were recording him (again per John Lennon)" Keith was a right $#%$% to Brian.

  • @cottageorgan Brian Jones was not murdered.

He went off the deep end like so many other rock stars his age.

  • you can see Brian is alwys reacting to the subplot of mickand keith....you throw fame, media, women into the equasion and is a deadly downer....Brian saw it coming his are caught watching, giving it ,his mind away...Keith fucking dreams of what brain could do.

  • @kittenlyric amen

  • @kittenlyric Keith tried his best with Brian, and it just didn't work out. I don't see why that gives anyone the right to bash either of them though. :/

  • @kittenlyric o_o Okay. First. They did not steal the band. In no way did Mick and Keith conspire to gain control of the band. -_- I don't know why people attack them for that, it's stupid. Second. He didn't just pop in and take off with Anita. It was an incredibly slow process. Anita and Brian were beating each other up, to the point where at least one of them would end up with black eyes and broken bones. It was not a healthy relationship at all. If anything, it was Anita that came to Keith.

  • I love the Stones but it is best to separate the music from the personalities.

The more you know about your favorite people the less impressed you are going to be and sometimes you will find that some of them are or were assholes.

John Lennon once said "Never strive to meet your idols, you will always be disappointed"

He knew it happened to others when they met him just like it happened to him when he met Elvis.

  • @Philtration Not much, except that John would bring Yoko into the studio. I guess Kieth brought Brian's ex-girlfriend with him into the studio. Yoko annoyed George and Paul, seeing his ex-girlfriend making out with Keith would have annoyed Brian. But yea it's a bit of a stretch.

  • @kittenlyric What does John Lennon have to do with Brian Jones and Keith Richards or anything that went on between the Stones?

  • Brian Jones was instrumental in the beginning sounds of the Stones and was also a very important part of the hippie dress epic. And he was good at beating bitches.

  • It is true that many talented people do self-destruct. Look at Elvis fighting food addiction and drugs, too. If only Anita hadn't come in the picture, Brian wouldn't have been battling the jealousy with Keith about her and perhaps he would still be here. A great musician with too many demons.
