I was flying my spitfre just getting the trim right and wanted to go for a second flight, but things went bad........

  • Actually bad luck didn't have too much to do with it,

    I should have checked the little bolts holding the motor in place( the Allen wrench things) , since the motor had a bent shaft and vibrated like hell :P

    I managed to get it on the ground pretty much intact though, the motor hanging out gave me a lot of speed downwards, which allowed me to steer a bit.

  • unlucky :( i had an art tech spitfire, best plane i ever flew, and i think you will agree the motor mount is shite, its a bit of foam with two bits of plastic, what i did was buy a new body, and put a bit of plywood in, hope this helps
