I was in a flying mood this week for some reason. This is the 2nd of 2 flying videos I made this week. It features the very cool F4U Corsair. The Corsair is probably one of the most recognized warbirds of WWII along with the P51. The bent gullwings allowed the designers to put a bigger prop on this plane to use more of the incredible power from the huge engine, as well as allowing shorter landing gear so they would fit into the wing easier when retracted. The Corsair was incredibly successful as a fighter. It was sometimes called the "whistling death" due to the sounds it made on strafing passes.
This replica F4U Corsair is extremely stable and fun to fly. And it's even more fun with the brand new HD Hero cam mounted up front so we can all enjoy actually flying in it.
Enjoy the flight!
And don't worry, I will be back to making monster truck videos very soon. :))
