@dateoflies You are so right. I'm in the same situation. CS people I know are mostly male geeks, others are weird. However, I think it should be like that, and it's not a strong reason to switch. CS still can be a good application of your intellectual abilities.

LOL, what a joke. I did a 3 year CompSci DEC at one of the advertised CEGEPs that offer the program. It was ONLY geeks and 35 year olds trying to make a career change. Videogames were always the choice discussion and 95% of the students were male. The 5% which were girls were weird (hint: did you see any hot desirable women in that video?). If you love videogames and being in front of computers all day long surrounded by the socially inept, than compsci is for you. I'm so happy I changed fields.
