@Bojak10 I agree with that the movie is not nearly as good as what I've seen so far of the manga and anime, but I kinda liked a whole lot more of Mike's version of Kakihara (although the original it's also delicious).

The animation here is BALLS. It's a shame because an animated ichi the killer DONE RIGHT would be awesome. They should make it stylish and graphic.

Yup, this is the "real" Kakihara... That's why:
For everyone who didn't know - this anime is a prequel to MANGA, not to movie by Takashi Miike. Movie prequel is called 1-Ichi (really bad, don't even watch it )
I have read the manga and believe me or not - comic book is way better than Miike's movie. At the beginning I thought Kakihara looks weird, but now i like his original version even more.
However, whole "ichi universe" is amazing ;)
