Item from German TV station RTL http://www.rtl.de - May 7, 2009.
Interview with Courtney Schulhoff (currently Lowell correctional institution, Ocala, Fl) in a German news show in May 2009. The item was about the discussion in the USA if life without parole sentences for juveniles should be abolished like in every other country in the world.
Courtney Schulhoff was sentenced to life without parole in 2006. In 2004, she was 16, her then boyfriend (21) murdered her father. She had allegedly initiated it and impelled him, but the accusations were rather based on speculation than on serious evidence. And even assuming some involvement, there had been circumstances and previous events strongly diminishing her guilt. Life without parole is an absurd and perverse excess.

wow, this "news" show is the most biased piece of shit i've ever come across. she was raped by her dad? um, no she wasn't. she's a victim of a merciless american criminal justice system that puts poor little kiddies away for life? um, no. she plotted the death of her father, and stood by while her boyfriend bashed her dad's skull in and dumped him in a tupperware container. and then she admitted it all under oath at trial.
this bitch is exactly where she's supposed to be.

@mo1948able you cant just say she didn't know what she was doing, you don't know that i knew what right and wrong was long before her age. also when you say it like that, it makes it sound like the main reason you should not commit murder is because of the punishment you get, rather than it being wrong.
