It looks like a lot of it has to do with where the strokes meet. There seem to be lots of corners on drawings that the strokes come out from in different angles. Fascinating.

Will you please post how to draw an old man laughing hysterically? I'm entering a beer in our local brew festival this August and they want a label on it. The name of my beer is SlapHappy Pappy IPA. I thought it would be funny to have a cartoon of 'Pappy' laughing like a madman. I know there was a comic book "Slap Happy Pappy" but my character will be different. Tips and ideas would be great because I'm an awful cartoonist. I definitely need instruction.

lol this is how cartoons like dexter lab, spongebob, hey arnold, cow and chicken, the powerpuff girls are made, this guy is really skilled if you think of how many strokes it took for him to make such a nice looking character without being detailed, its really helpful.
