So i hope that EVERYONE here knows now about the mortal kombat series thats online? so far (at the date of this post) 7 episodes have aired. if you haven't seen it, I suggest you do so now.
it does justice to this series, and is amazingly well done

Did Vorpax really call it the Cobalt Mines of "Sho" Khan? lolwut Vorpax.
The only way around that is if the Cobalt Mines really belong to the race of warriors known as the Shokan, who produced memorable warriors such as Prince Goro.

@mkfan786 This reply is no doubt several years apart from your very own remarks, but...I take it you saw the MK Rebirth pitch that was leaked to the net recently? While not necessarily a film, it's about as good as we'll get for a movie, now.

Well, there is a 3rd MK movie that's coming out around 2010 or so, but it's not actually Mortal Kombat 3. :P So far, I've heard the actors who played Johnny Cage, Raiden, and Scorpion in the first MK movie will be making a return. I can understand those who don't believe it happening as of now, but if that movie (a remake of the 1st one) really is in the works, guess we can only hope more info about it will be revealed in the not too distant future...

Remake of the 2nd one. And I'm sorry but is has been cancelled. In place of it they are producing a new TV series with Robin Shou and the first movie actors to return. But it is no based on the MK we know, it's based on the new MK. That's what Ed Boon says. A new MK movie is not impossible, but is not likely. If they do one, they will remake the 2nd one as not many people liked it.

I don't believe any of the crap I hear about MK3 movie anymore. Cuz I been hearing so many different things about an MK3 movie for about 7 years now. As far as I know it was meant to be a remake of Annihilation but they cancelled it and decided to make a new series instead that is based on the new MK that is coming out on PS3 after MK Armageddon on PS2. This information came directly from Ed Boon on a mortal kombat website called total mortal kombat.
