One of our customers installed a Pypes Exhaust SCC51R C5 Cat-back Exhaust on his 1998 Corvette. He chose Pypes Racepro mufflers and dual tips for his install. Have a listen to the final product.

  • What's the difference between the racepro mufflers and the other choice?

  • @waktasz The Race Pro's are better suited for cars with long tube headers and or no catalytic converters . The muffler is very efficient (being a straight through design) and does not create additional tone, therefor the decibels are not increased but controlled with minimal restriction. This is a stainless steel packed muffler.

  • Sounds incredible my friend. Very subtle yet angery sounding. I like it a lot.

  • @waktasz No, it is not stock. This car has long tube headers and a big Procharger (SUPERCHARGER)

  • Omg it's beautiful!!

  • Awesome!!!

  • @waktasz If I could post it I would. Search youtube for Pypes and Z06 and we have several sound clips in and out of the red Z06 with the Violator catback.

  • @PypesExhaust Its a stock c5 z06

  • @waktasz What mods are currently done to your car? We do not own a C5 but one of our local customers does. Sorry but it would be tough to schedule a meet.

  • @PypesExhaust Any chance you guys have any Corvettes in the shop with this exhaust I could hear before I buy? I'm local

  • @waktasz The Violators are better suited for cars with factory stock manifolds and catalytic converters as they tend to be quiet when stock and a more aggressive tone is desired. They are also a straight through design but there is no packing in the muffler to absorb additional sound.
