Here are some White Swans. Swans are also extremely sacred birds in Hinduism. Just as Lord Vishnu's vehicle is Lord Garuda, the swans are the vehicle of the Creator in the Hindu Holy Trinity, Lord Brahma. His chariot is drawn by seven swans, representing the seven worlds. Swans also have a unique power according to Hindu scriptures: Virtues that are not to be found in any creature of the eighty-four million species of the seven worlds. Their virtue is "Neera-Ksheera Viveka," that is, if milk is mixed with water, a swan is capable of separating the milk from water. The symbolism of this is that the swans can imbibe the valuable part of a thing and discard the worthless. Swans are also known as the birds of love, since they are always seen in pairs, and keep one mate for life -- truly monogamous.
