OPEN LETTER TO AIR TRANSPORT INDUSTRY (and IATA members)

It has been a great year for the airline industry, especially all the glamour and glory of Boeing's new 787 Dreamliner finally delivered to the first customers, and it is great for the airline operators because it uses about 20% less fuel than previous wide body mid-range jets.
But not all your customers are giving you a clean bill of health. Some people see the con-trails across the sky like they were the charred remains of jungle hit by a napalm bombing. The IATA is aware of this image problem and has moved to solve it by imposing fast approaching deadlines for the addition of biofuel blendstock into aviation fuels. The US military is helping too, with plans to make JP-8, and even JP-5 from approaximately 50% biobased fuels sources.
So what are you going to do? Mr. Airline Executive? Mr. Airport Fuel supplier? Mr. Aircraft Manufacturer? Are you going to grow biomass in Argentina, then add to its cost and its carbon-footprint by shipping it to Texas to be processed? Then add both cost and carbon-footprint again to ship it to Lagos, Nigeria to be mixed with their petroleum fuel or to Zambia to blend with fuel arriving from the Arabian peninsula? Just so you can fly that 747 back to its base in the United Kingdom?
DaoChi Energy has a better plan for you. We have developed technologies and incorporated other tremendously valuable pieces of the puzzle that have been much under-rated to be able to provide a biomass to Jet-A (or even JP-8). This multi-faceted process integrates with local African towns, providing improved sanitation, clean and safe water, jobs and economic opportunity through community based, Grameen-Bank-style co-operatives as joint ventures that give the people a long term stake in the enterprises in partnership with us, and you, and some prestigious NGO's as trustees to stimulate the kind of growth and modernization that will create a robust and larger middle class. You know, the kind of people who occupy the seats on your flights both regionally and around the world. Africa's time is starting now, with integrated green fuel islands of independent energy, building infrastructure, transportation and community in a fair and balanced economic equation that benefits everyone, worldwide.
Let us help you grow your fuel in Africa for your African routes, and we'll show you how you can make that a worldwide model for growing food and fuel, everywhere.

p.s. We are working on a plan for a demonstration project in a small Caribbean island nation because we can create such a vast improvement in their economic plight that it should also serve as an incentive for other nations to follow their example partnership with us.

Please be sure to see associated videos at http://youtube.com/daochienergy
as well. They discuss integrated biofuels development (and economic development) in greater detail.

Sincerely,
Stafford "Doc" Williamson
